SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (Sept. 29, 2026) – John Brown University’s music & theatre department invites you to its Fall Choir Concert on October 9, at 7:30 p.m., in the Cathedral of the Ozarks on the JBU campus.

The concert will be a night of worship and jubilation while reflecting on God’s character through the Psalms.

“We warmly invite the community to join us for this Fall Choir Concert; a program centered on the beauty and spiritual depth of the Psalms, timeless songs of praise speak to every season of life — joy and gratitude,
wonder and longing, struggle and hope — and the music gives voice to that full range of human experience,” said Seung Won Cho, Ph.D., JBU director of choral activities. 

Through works by Schütz, Bruckner, Rutter, Mendelssohn, Wesley, Paulus, Hogan, Dawson and others, the program moves from songs of creation and praise to spirituals of deliverance, peace and homecoming. 

"We hope this program offers an evening of reflection, encouragement and shared beauty, drawing listeners into a deeper encounter with the God whom the Psalms have praised through the ages," he said.

Admission is free, and doors open at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
