MBA vs. MS: What's the difference?

A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a traditional business program and is largely quantitative. It focuses on teaching an advanced knowledge of business and students will draw from their work experience in the classes. A Master of Science (MS) is a broad degree that focuses on the people of the organization and on soft skills, such as leadership, innovation, and qualitative studies. For more details, view the degree requirements for the programs.

All JBU business programs are accredited or candidates for accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is an accrediting organization dedicated to improving the quality of business schools and programs around the world, and ultimately to improving the practice of business in every industry around the world. Member institutions adhere to the highest standards and focus on student learning outcomes, providing the kind of education that is relevant to the marketplace.
