After 21 years of full-time service with Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Baker retired in January 2001. In addition to currently serving as an internal consultant for leadership development with Baptist Health, he is a contract consultant for organizational development for selected organizations.
Dr. Baker's work experience includes responsibilities as a teacher, instructor, coach, counselor, education director, training specialist, staff development program administrator, and human resource development director. He also has experience with leadership development, organization development and continuous quality improvement and he worked with the University of Hawaii conducting and coordinating the continuing education programs in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
He has served as leader, instructor, lecturer and facilitator for numerous programs on various topics and currently consults and conducts seminars on a variety of subjects related to personal, interpersonal, leadership and organizational development.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling and has been to Canada, Mexico, German, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, France and the Holy Lands.
