Dr. Kyle Ireland has been the Director of Student Support Services at JBU since 2015. Prior to his time at JBU, Dr. Ireland spent nine years teaching entry-level mathematics at Olivet Nazarene University in the Department of General Studies. Further, he directed ONU’s Freshmen Advising program and Freshmen Seminar program for five years during his tenure. Dr. Ireland also spent four years as a Resident Director at Olivet where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Teaching. In, 2018 he completed his doctorate at Liberty University in Educational Leadership focusing on Higher Education. 

While at JBU Dr. Ireland has been the Coordinator of Disability Services and the Director of the ASPIRE program. He has taught classes focused on academic success with an emphasis on grit both in the traditional undergraduate programming and with JBUOnline. In his spare time, he can be found attending one of his two daughters’ numerous sporting and leisure events, hanging out with friends, and watching sports. Additionally, he is an avid Rubik’s cube fan.
