Jan Whitmore

I have 39 total years of experience in teaching fitness classes – 32 of them at JBU.  I have had certifications with AFAA, ACE, NETA and NRG and I am a former Silver Sneakers District Coordinator.  I am currently teaching Silver Sneakers, Silver Splash and Group Power – all at JBU. I like the satisfaction of seeing someone be successful as a result of being a part of a larger group.  I love leading Silver Sneakers as they bring wisdom, fun, and a wide variety of life experiences to learn from.

Amy Maxwell

I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. With a B.S. and M.S. in Health and Wellness, I focus on developing personalized health programs. I help clients better understand nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle factors so they can take control of their wellness. I currently teach the Core Strength class.

Rita

Rita Lamphear

I have been teaching various types of fitness classes at JBU for 35 years. My certifications have included AFAA, MOSSA, and the American Heart Association. I love meeting and getting to know everyone who comes to my classes. Currently I teach Group Power and Group Centergy.

Rosa Christians
Certified Personal Trainer

Rosa is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.  She has a B.S. in Family and Human Services and an M.S. in Leadership and Ethics, with extended studies in Spanish. Inspiring others to reach their personal bests, while having fun and working off stress is one of her greatest joys.
