What are you looking for?
Students name the large rooms, numerous common areas, and friendly atmosphere as their favorite traits of Hutcheson Hall. Residence Life at JBU is about sharing life. As students share a room or a suite or meet in the floor lounge for prayer or study, we hope that each student's experience and life will be enriched.
To build Hutcheson Hall, affectionately called "Hutch," we took the most appealing aspects of Mayfield, J. Alvin, and Walker and created a unique blend of various room and living arrangements.
Hutcheson Hall is co-ed and home to 186 students, housed on four floors with men and women being divided by floor. Each floor has three different styles of rooms: the traditional wing where six rooms share a community bathroom; a large suite where four rooms share a community living area and a shared bathroom; and a private suite hall, where every two rooms are connected with a shared bathroom.
For student convenience, Hutcheson also has public computers and printers, laundry facilities, and several kitchen facilities.
Each room in Hutcheson Hall is furnished with two beds, two desks and chairs, two dressers, and closet space.
