4+1 MBA

John Brown University offers a 4 plus 1 program as part of the Accelerated Master's Program. By adding just one year to your college experience, you can obtain your MBA - no matter your major! This is a great way to save time and money.

How does it work?

Through the 4+1 MBA Program, you are able to earn a Master of Business Administration in one extra year by taking four graduate courses as dual credit that count toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees. 

What are the requirements?

• Junior standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Approval from an academic advisor
• Take the following prerequisites:
  • ATG 2173 Financial Accounting – OR – ATG 1163 Accounting for Decision Making 
  • BUS 2193 Business Statistics
  • FIN 3003 Principles of Finance
  • ECN 2003 Basic Economics – OR – ECN 2113 Principles of Microeconomics – OR – ECN 2123 Principles of Macroeconomics
