On September 29, 1919 John E. Brown Sr. founded a vocational college for young men and women of any means in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Throughout the 100 years of our history, John Brown University has been blessed with unusual continuity in leadership and educational mission. God's faithfulness has been evident through the faculty, staff, and students that have come to JBU as well as the friends who have generously supported our mission of providing students with a "Head, Heart, Hand" education built on a foundation of "Christ Over All."
