Apply to be the Missionaries in Residence

John Brown University is an independent, interdenominational, evangelical institution founded in 1919. Its basic task is to provide Christ-centered higher education that contributes dynamically to the intellectual, spiritual, and occupational effectiveness of men and women in God-honoring living and service.

The university, therefore, seeks active cross-cultural missionaries who subscribe to its Statements of Faith; who understand the roles of their disciplines in Christian education and can interpret them in the light of Christian theology and ethics; who continue to grow in their teaching, scholarship, and service; and who support the university's statement of employment objectives.

Applicants are considered for the Missionary-in-Residence position without regard to color, sex, race, national origin, or physical handicap.

As part of the application process, candidates may be asked to teach a class or conduct a seminar at the time of the interview.

Transcripts should not be sent until requested.

The application deadline is August 1 prior to the year being applied for.
