Simmons Great Hall (SGH) is a beautiful and versatile banquet facility. You can hold an event of up to 600 guests or the room can be divided into subsections to accommodate groups as small as 25 people.
JBU has hosted many weddings, receptions, banquets, conferences, seminars, dinners, luncheons, Fortune 500 company events, and more in this venue.
SGA is equipped with an advanced audio visual system with multiple floor panels, phone and data connections, and a distributed sound system. The quality ceiling projection system, four retractable screens, motorized window-shading systems, and pre-programmable lighting system provide our guests with the convenience to plan everything from elaborate presentations to simple luncheons.
JBU's dining and catering services are conveniently adjacent to the Simmons Great Hall for attentive and quality catering and beverage service.
Perfect for large banquets and can also be converted into two or three smaller rooms at your convenience. Maximum capacity is 600.
