Get an authentic glimpse into everyday life as a JBU student.
What are classes like? How does financial aid work? What are the dorms like? See for yourself!
After you've seen campus and spoken candidly with students and professors, you'll know if JBU is right for you.
At a JBU Preview Day, you'll experience and connect with the JBU community over one or two days. You'll sit in on classes, tour campus with an admissions counselor, meet professors and worship in The Gathering, our student-led chapel service.
Please dress casually and wear comfortable shoes for the campus tour!
Yes! This is a great way to experience what it's like to live at JBU. In addition to overnight Preview Days, we offer overnight visits Monday–Thursday evenings for current juniors and seniors in high school and transfer students. You will be paired with a JBU Ambassador student who will take you to dinner, show you around the dorms and host you for the evening. We aren't able to guarantee an extra bed for every guest, so it would be best to bring a pillow and sleeping bag for your stay.
We are not able to provide accommodations for parents or families, but there are several hotels in Siloam Springs within five minutes of campus.
If you will be spending the night on campus, plan to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries.

If you are coming for a Individual Visit, you will park and check in at the Admissions Office.
If you are coming for a Preview Day, follow the signs to parking and check in.
Because your Individual Visit is tailored around you, we prefer to have as much notice as possible to set up your visit — at least 48 hours. The more you want to do while you're here, the more time we need to set everything up. We will be in contact with you as we organize your schedule, so you will know what to expect when you arrive.
Registration for our Preview Days closes on the Thursday prior to each event.
It all depends on you! An Individual Visit will allow you to choose your schedule and activities. For seniors who are narrowing down their college choices and want detailed information about specific programs and requirements, you may want to set up an Individual Visit.
For students who are just starting the college process or taking a first look at JBU, a Preview Day is a great place to start. It will give you a good overview of what we have to offer, and we hope it will give you a point of reference as you continue your college search.
We hope that both visit experiences will give you a good taste of who we are and what we have to offer. If you can't decide which experience is best for you, why not try them both? Many students visit more than once. You're welcome to come back as many times as you like.
Please call the Admissions Office at (479) 524-7454 or email us at campusvisit@jbu.edu. We'll be happy to help!
