THURSDAY, SEPT. 3

Depart from the U.S.

Our journey begins! We pray for safe travel and a meaningful time of fellowship together as we explore the beauty, history, and faith heritage of Ireland.

Arrival in Dublin / Travel to Belfast

FRIDAY, SEPT. 4

Arrival in Dublin / Travel to Belfast

Arrive in Dublin and enjoy lunch at the airport before traveling to Belfast. After checking in, we’ll walk to Victoria Square to explore for a couple of hours. The evening will close with an early dinner together at the hotel and an introduction to Northern Ireland.

The Land of St. Patrick

SATURDAY, SEPT. 5

The Land of St. Patrick

We begin with visits to Downpatrick Cathedral and Saul Church, the site of Patrick’s first church (400 A.D.). After lunch at Inch Abbey, we’ll enjoy the beauty of Tollymore Forest, Newcastle, and Dundrum before dinner at Buck’s Head.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 6

C.S. Lewis Day

We will worship at St. Mark’s Dundela, the childhood parish of C.S. Lewis, then tour the church. After High Tea at The Old Inn in Crawfordsburn, we’ll visit C.S. Lewis Square. The day ends with dinner at the hotel and an evening talk with poet Malcolm Guite.

North Coast Tour

MONDAY, SEPT. 7

North Coast Tour

Explore the breathtaking North Coast with stops at Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, and Dunluce Castle. Lunch will be Morton’s world-famous fish and chips in Ballycastle, followed by dinner at the Bushmills Inn, where Ross Wilson will be our guest speaker.

Belfast Highlights - Titanic Museum

TUESDAY, SEPT. 8

Belfast Highlights

The morning includes a tour of the Titanic Museum. After lunch on your own, the afternoon is free to explore Belfast—shopping, Belfast Cathedral, and Belfast Castle are all options. Dinner will be together at Deanes Restaurant, one of Belfast’s finest.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 9

Belfast Peace & Culture

Take a Shankill Road tour, including the famous “Peace Wall” where Bill Stevenson will share his testimony. We’ll also visit Belfast Castle, enjoy lunch and a tour of Lakeside Manor, and conclude with dinner at Deanes Restaurant in Belfast.

Travel to Dublin

THURSDAY, SEPT. 10

Travel to Dublin

After breakfast, we’ll pack up and travel by bus to Dublin. Lunch will be along the road, with arrival and hotel check-in mid-afternoon. Dinner together at the hotel.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 11

Dublin City Tour

Take in Dublin by bus with the hop-on, hop-off city tour, visiting Christ Church, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the Chester Beatty Library (which houses early copies of portions of St. Paul’s letters). Dinner together at Balfes or another local restaurant.

Overnight: The Westbury Hotel, Dublin

Dublin Walking Tour

SATURDAY, SEPT. 12

Dublin Walking Tour

Enjoy a walking tour with Billy Stevenson, including Trinity College Dublin and the National Gallery of Art (both within walking distance of the hotel). Free time in the afternoon to shop along Grafton Street or watch the street performers. Dinner at Shehans or a local pub.

Overnight: The Westbury Hotel, Dublin

 

SUNDAY, SEPT. 13

Return Home

After breakfast at the Westbury, we’ll head to the airport for flights home. We pray that the Lord will use this experience to enrich your life and strengthen your faith through the beauty, history, and fellowship of this journey.
