Missionaries In Residence

Meet the Missionaries in Residence!

Each year, JBU hosts an active missionary couple who take a year from their usual work on the mission field to serve on our JBU campus! They play a critical role helping Missionary Kids adapt to life in the US and provide support for them individually. They also coordinate World Awareness Week and advocate for international missions at JBU.

Missionaries in Residence

Murray and Sheryl Greenwood

JBU is pleased to welcome Murray and Sheryl Greenwood for the 2018-19 academic year.

Murray and Sheryl Greenwood both felt called to missions as young people. They married while Murray was in residency training as a pediatrician, and eventually moved with their three kids from Texas to Loja, Ecuador in 2006. Murray works in a public health clinic part time. Murray and Sheryl minister alongside the local Ecuadorian church.  Their main focus is to train and disciple believers who will in turn disciple others. They are thrilled to be serving as the MIR's at JBU for the 2018-19 school year.
