Dr. Robert Norwood is Associate Vice President for Academic Administration and Professor of Engineering. In his role as Associate Vice President, Dr. Norwood oversees the academic programs, curriculum, policies, and procedures. Dr. Norwood also serves as JBU’s accreditation liaison officer with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a peer reviewer for HLC. Dr. Norwood is a graduate of Stanford University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He continued at Stanford and earned a master’s and Ph.D. in electrical engineering with a Ph.D. minor in computer science.
