Distinguished Guest Lecturer Nathan Lee, JD, brings extensive experience in law, government leadership, and law enforcement to John Brown University. He currently serves as Deputy Secretary for Security and Law Enforcement for the Arkansas Secretary of State, where he leads the agency’s Legal Division, Elections Division, and the Arkansas State Capitol Police. Previously, Nathan served as a Special Agent with the United States Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, and for five years with the United States Secret Service, gaining experience in both the Little Rock Field Office and the Presidential Protective Division.

Nathan’s interests and areas of teaching include Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Financial Crimes Investigations, Government Oversight, Threat Analysis and Investigations, physical and site security, and American government and politics.

Nathan is a Jefferson County, Arkansas native who graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in Criminology. He received his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law. Nathan is an avid deer hunter and enjoys spending time outdoors. He is a proud husband to his wife, Fallon, and father to his son, Woodrow. Nathan and his wife actively attend services at Fellowship Midtown Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
