Shards of Light is JBU's literature and creative art journal published every spring semester. The journal showcases work from alumni, faculty, staff, and current students and is run by a team of undergraduate students under the direction of Professor Patty Kirk.

The Threefold Advocate is the award-winning digital student newspaper. The news and opinions are produced for practicum credit by journalism minors. Other JBU students may assist as designers, columnists, editorial cartoonists and photographers. The student editors and staff make all the editorial and production decisions under the auspices of a faculty adviser.

JBU's yearbook, The Nesher, has been a proud tradition since 1926 with its first publication under the name Jebroco. With the name Nesher since 1982, the yearbook continues to record the highlights of the year to the best of the staff's ability.
