Siloam Springs, Ark (April 10, 2002) - Garrett Stahl of Olathe, Kansas signed a letter of intent to play soccer at John Brown University. Stahl has played premier club soccer since the age of eight with the Kaiser Soccer Club in Kansas City and was a member of Kaiser’s Snickers State Champions teams.

JBU Coach Bob Gustavson said, “Garrett has all the necessary skills to become an outstanding college midfielder. He possesses a good shot as well as the dribbling techniques to play a major offensive role on our team. I think Garrett has an excellent chance to make an immediate impact on our program. His experience playing for state champion Kaiser Soccer Club will help him make the transition to the college game. I really look forward to working with Garrett this fall.”

Stahl will graduate with honors from Olathe North High School, where he’s been an honor roll student all four years he attended. Stahl has maintained a 3.6 GPA in high school and was named Who’s Who Among American High School Students for three consecutive years.

Stahl is the son of Craig and Betty Stahl of Olathe, Kansas. Stahl plans to pursue a degree in either business or computer science at JBU.
