Annual Drive-Thru Difference Day Encourages Random Acts of Kindness

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (November 14, 2013) - KLRC’s annual Pay it Forward campaign is going on during the month of November. The most popular part of the campaign will take place Thursday, Nov. 14 when people across Northwest Arkansas participate in the Drive-Thru Difference Day. KLRC listeners are invited to join hundreds of others who will make a positive difference by simply paying for the car behind them in the drive-thru line.

Participants can download an official Drive-Thru Difference Day note at KLRC.com to give to drive-thru attendants to be passed onto the person behind them with their order. These notes explain the campaign and invite the recipient to take part as well.

KLRC is encouraging participants to call 800-909-KLRC and share stories about their ‘Drive-Thru Difference Day’ experience.

This is the sixth year that 90.9 KLRC and Arvest Bank have joined forces to spread goodwill throughout Northwest Arkansas by encouraging people to pay it forward through random acts of kindness. Listeners can get ideas of ways to ‘Pay it Forward’ on KLRC.com. They can also submit to win $100 that they can use to fund their random acts of kindness.
