Billy Graham Leaves Legacy at JBU

Billy Graham’s work as an evangelist brought the Gospel to millions around the world, including a 1959 visit to JBU where Graham spoke at the semester-opening service in the Cathedral of the Ozarks. Today we mourn the loss of this great leader while also celebrating his legacy — a legacy that continues in the JBU students who receive the Billy Graham and Ruth Bell Graham Evangelism Endowed Scholarship each year. The prayers of the JBU community are with the Graham family as they grieve.
