Galliguez and Rakestraw were key members of the squad for the last four seasons as the duo keyed the Golden Eagles to its first 100-win plateau in a four-year span, landing an overall record of 100-35. John Brown has made an appearance in the Division I Men's Basketball Championships three of the four seasons while capturing its first-ever Sooner Athletic Conference regular season championship this past season, posting a 14-2 mark in SAC play.

The 6-foot-2 senior guard shot 42.2 percent from the three-point line, easily his best single-year average ever. Rakestraw concluded the season ranked No. 24 in the nation in three-point percentage while finishing No. 25 in total triples made (76).
