It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Coming to JBU

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (September 26, 2014) - John Brown University’s Music and Theater department brings a fun twist to a classic story of love and redemption. Joe Landry’s “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” is an audience-engaging play that will be performed in the Berry Performing Arts Center Oct. 3-4 and Oct. 10-11.

With the help of an ensemble that brings several characters to the stage, the beloved traditional story is brought to life in a 1940s live radio broadcast. It follows the journey of George Bailey as he contemplates life and death one fateful Christmas Eve.

Performances will take place in the Berry Performing Arts Center on the JBU campus:

            Friday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.

            Saturday, Oct. 4at 2:00 p.m.

            Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m.    

Ticket prices are $14 for adults, $12 for senior adults, $6 for non-JBU students and $3 for JBU students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.jbu.edu/tickets, or by calling 479.524.7382. This production is suitable for all ages.
