JBU Cathedral Choir Begins Spring Concert Tour

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (April 8, 2014) - John Brown University’s Cathedral Choir, in preparation for its Ireland summer mission tour, will begin a series of spring performances on April 13.

The Cathedral Choir, composed of 58 students representing six countries and 13 states, will sing the lively "Sorida” (A Zimbabwe Greeting) and special arrangements of "It is well with my Soul" and the ethereal “O Magnum Mysterium” by Craig Courtney.

The choir plans to sing in the morning worship service at Community Christian Fellowship in Siloam Springs on April 13 at 10:30 a.m., as well as in the morning worship services of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville on April 27 at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The choir will also perform a concert at JBU at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25 in the Berry Performing Arts Center.

Forty-nine of the choir members will perform in Ireland during the summer mission tour, singing in various churches, schools and the Northern Ireland Parliament.
