JBU Department of Music and Theater Presents Brigadoon

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (October 28, 2014) - The John Brown University Department of Music and Theater brings a Scottish tale filled with dancing and singing to the Berry Performing Arts Center stage. Lerner & Loewe’s 1940’s Broadway musical Brigadoon will open with a red carpet reception Nov. 7.

The story follows two New Yorkers as they travel to the Scottish highlands and stumble upon Brigadoon, a town stuck in the past with its own share of mystery. The cast will take you back in time and bring the past to life through romance, singing, comedy and dancing.

Performances will take place in the Berry Performing Arts Center on the JBU campus:

            Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

            Friday, Nov. 14 and Saturday Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are $16 for adults, $14 for senior adults, $6 for non-JBU students and $3 for JBU students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.jbu.edu/tickets, or by calling 479.524.7382. This production is suitable for all ages.
