JBU to Graduate 360 at Spring Commencement Ceremonies

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (April 30, 2013) - John Brown University will hold spring commencement ceremonies for graduating students Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. for traditional undergraduates and at 2:00 p.m. for graduate and degree completion students. Family and friends will gather in the Bill George Arena for undergraduate students and in the Cathedral of the Ozarks for graduate and degree completion students.

Dr. Richard Ruble will be delivering the commencement address. Ruble has been employed at JBU for 50 years and served as a professor, department head, division head, trustee professor, academic dean and vice president for academic affairs. He was very instrumental in starting a faculty evaluation system, a psychology major and May Term course offerings. After attending colleges and universities in seven states, he received seven degrees including two doctorates. He holds a Th.D. in a systematic theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from College of Arkansas.
