Redman’s double-overtime thriller earns SAC offensive award

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Sophomore Jastin Redman netted her fourth game-winner of the season and wrapped up this week's Sooner Athletic Offensive Player of the Week honors, conference offices announced Monday (Oct. 17) afternoon.

Redman's strike in the 104th minute helped John Brown (11-1-1, 5-0 SAC) to a 2-1 double-overtime win over Science & Arts (Okla.) on Saturday (Oct. 15), maintaining its spot atop the SAC table.

Redman's tally was her 10th of the season, which ranks her tied for third among all SAC strikers. She now has a total of 30 points, also third among all SAC players. The award was her second of the season, third of her career.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 18) in Bethany, Okla., to take on Southwestern Christian (Okla.) at 1 p.m.
