Women's Tennis Inks Taylor Russell
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (January 21, 2013) - Head tennis coach Paul Pautsch is pleased to announce the signing of his first recruit after taking the helm of the Golden Eagles tennis programs earlier this fall as Taylor Russell has agreed to join the women's tennis program next year.
Russell, a 5-foot-0 senior, will graduate in the spring from Life Way Christian in Centerton, Ark.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Taylor to the program," said Pautsch. "She is a wonderful addition to a women's tennis program that is undergoing a lot of positive changes. We can't wait for her to join us on campus in the fall."
While spending her high school career playing for the Warriors, Russell has trained for the last three years with Tennis Professionals Jonathan Zielke and Manuel Cervantes at the Pinnacle Country Club, located in Rogers, Ark.
Russell, the daughter of William and Donna, will look to major in Political Science during her time in Siloam Springs.
