JBU volleyball falls in double header

The JBU women's volleyball team suffered two tough losses on Saturday at home against Oklahoma Baptist and Mid America Nazarene (Kan.). 

The final score of the first match was 3-1 (17-12, 23-25, 26-24, 25-17) and the final score of the second match was 3-2 (14-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-17, 10-15).

Erin Didier led JBU offensively in the match against OBU with 14 kills followed by Allie Rankin with 10.  Sophomore Kailey Bain led with 21 assists.

Libero Sarah Jordan led defensively with 18 digs followed by Aubrey Adams with 12.

The Lady Eagles came back on the court after their loss to the SAC's league leading Lady Bison to play five sets against Mid America Nazarene.

Jordan led JBU defensively with 10 digs followed by Staci Williamson and Bain each with eight.

Williamson led offensively with 13 kills followed by Didier with 11.  Bain tossed out 19 assists.

The Lady Eagles will play their next two matches on Tuesday, Oct.11 while on the road against Central Baptist College (Ark.) at 5 p.m. and College of the Ozarks (Mo.) at 7 p.m. in Branson, Missouri.
