Netters blanked by Crimson Storm

Bethany, Okla. (November 5, 2009) - The JBU women’s volleyball team fell to 22-11 overall and 6-7 in the Sooner Athletic Conference after falling to Southern Nazarene (Okla.) in three straight sets on Thursday night in the Sawyer Center.

In what was a must win situation to stay in contention for the SAC conference tournament, the ladies fell short never putting together a full set that threatened the Crimson Storm. JBU played from behind in every set falling 18-25, 18-25, 23-25.

Erin Didier paced JBU with nine kills, while Britney Kerns dished out nine assists. Sarah Jordan had two aces.

Defensively, Shannon Proctor picked up 26 digs and Kassie Keeter posted four blocks.

For SNU (22-12, 7-6), Morgan Loewen had 10 kills and Lindi Lebsock had 34 assists.

The ladies will close out the regular season at home on Monday against Mid America Christian at 7 p.m.
