JBU Fall 2000 Commencement

Siloam Springs, Ark (December 14, 2000) - John Brown University's Fall Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Murray Sells Gymnasium on the campus of JBU. The University added a Fall Commencement six years ago to allow the growing number of December graduates the opportunity to participate in a commencement ceremony.

Dr. Charles Wilson, Executive Director of the Donald G. Soderquist Center for Business Leadership and Ethics will give the commencement address to a full crowd of family, friends and graduates. His address is titled, "Tests? I Thought They Were Over!"

JBU Registrar, Dr. Paul Hines, reports that 105 candidates for bachelor's degrees and eight candidates for master's degrees will participate in the ceremony.

John Brown University is a private university with an enrollment of over 1,500 students from 46 states and 30 countries. JBU is a member of the Arkansas Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
