JBU Loses to Northeastern State

Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 12, 2005) - Playing against an NCAA Division II opponent for the second game in a row, the John Brown Golden Eagles fell 3-1 to Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Okla., Monday. Charlotte Dinsdale opened the scoring for the Lady Reds in just the 7th minute, and then assisted a goal by former Rogers Mountie Robin Sutherland in the 11th minute for a 2-0 NSU lead. John Brown’s only score came in the 36th minute when Dawn Storie put a shot in from the top of the box. Kyndall Dooley scored NSU’s final goal in the 64th minute of play. The Golden Eagles fell to 3-3-1 on the season, and the Lady Reds improved to 2-1.

John Brown now faces a nearly two-week-long break, with their next game being against Park (Mo.) on Saturday, September 24. The game starts at 4:00 in Siloam Springs.
