New Director of Alumni & Parent Relations

Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 1, 2004) - John Brown University is pleased to announce that Mr. Jerry Rollene ’75, has been selected as the director of alumni and parent relations. Rollene will be responsible for creating and maintaining programs for alumni and parents. He will travel to various alumni events across the U.S. in the coming months to meet alumni. In addition to his responsibilities, he will also act as a facilitator for the Alumni Board and Parents Council. “Continuing to build a sense of community and lasting relationship among alumni, parents, students, and university employees is vital in this position,” Rollene said. Jerry brings his experience as a business consultant, business owner, and minister to JBU. Most recently, he served as a regional director of development for JBU. “The director of alumni and parent relations is a very important position at JBU,” Jim Krall, vice president of university advancement said. “Jerry brings a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience that will be valuable to the position.” He and his wife, Donna (Peterson) Rollene ’77, have three daughters, Becky, Jessie, and Olivia. They currently reside in Springdale, Ark.
