NAIA Nationals, February 26 to March 2, 2002

Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 4, 2002) - The swim team returned from nationals Sunday. The men’s team placed 7th with three of the relay’s placing in the top ten. Backstroker Mance Buttram along with Breaststrokers Kyle Struble and Nate Head all placed in the top 12 earning NAIA All-American honorable mention. Diver Daniel Ellis placed 7th in the 1m and 8th in the 3m while Mark England took first place in the 1m and 2nd in the 3m.

The women’s team placed 11th overall taking all five relay’s to nationals and scoring in the top 12 in four of the relay’s. Elizabeth Barnes placed in the top 12 in the 100 breaststroke while Diver Libby Mills place in the top 6 earning NAIA All-American status.
