Digital Cinema Classrooms

We have one theater-style classroom in Art West with 45 seats, a large screen, a projector and a surround-sound system. This room can be used for lecture-type classes, art history, cinematography and as a screening room for student digital cinema projects.
The Visual Arts Film Program facilities include two private editing suites and a 5.1 surround sound mixing studio and recording booth in Art East. Digital Cinema students learn about film and video editing using non-linear digital editing tools.
We have a JIB, black magic cameras, and several dollies that we teach and set up for students to learn how to use. Film students in cinematography class and other classes get to learn the gear hands-on, both inside and outside.
