Design Thinking & Innovation Program Requirements

Students may choose to earn either a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Design Thinking & Innovation concentration OR a Master of Science (M.S.) in Design Thinking & Innovation. The M.B.A. in Design Thinking and Innovation is largely quantitative and contains the foundational disciplines of business, while the M.S. in Design Thinking and Innovation is a broad degree that focuses more on the people side of this concentration than the different organizational areas.

The M.B.A. program is offered in two tracks for each of the concentrations: a 36-hour track and a 45-hour track. The 36-hour track is for those who have an undergraduate degree or minor in business or a related field with appropriate coursework in management/marketing, accounting, finance, economics, and statistics; the 45-hour track is for students who do not have the appropriate undergraduate coursework.
