Billing details

Book charges will be billed directly to your JBU student account. For the Fall 2025 semester, charges will appear in early August.

Starting with future semesters, bookstore charges will be automatically added to your student account once you register for classes. After registering, you’ll be able to view the associated book fees on your account statement.

Students may log in to the JBU Campus Bookstore to review the details of charges. Please contact the JBU Campus Bookstore with questions about bookstore charges.

Book formats

Students may choose if they prefer print or electronic textbooks, and the bookstore will do its best to honor that request, considering faculty textbook requirements. (If the professor requires an electronic version of a textbook, all students will receive it in e-book format.) Ebooks will be available directly inside Blackboard.

Fees for past-due rentals

Rentals must be returned by their due date to avoid additional fees and expenses. Rentals not returned on time will result in a rental-not-returned fee charged to your student account, and the item will be converted into a purchase, also charged to your student account. Log in to the JBU Campus Bookstore and navigate to the "My Course Materials" tab to find due dates and buyout options for your rentals.
