The Computer Science Academy at John Brown University (JBU) is a 10-week program designed to teach students in grades 6-12 the basics of programming. As the field of computer science continues to grow, the demand for professionals with programming experience has increased. The academy offers an opportunity for students to develop new skills and knowledge under the guidance of on-site student teachers in a two-hour session each week.
This course is designed for kids ages 12 to 17 who have little to no coding experience. The class will be held on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.. You will delve into the basics of programming in Python and design basic programs.
