Scholarships will be awarded based on a portfolio review, JBU faculty recommendation, academic standing and personal character. To set up a portfolio review meeting in order to ask one of our professors for their input, please contact Jeannie Abbott. This can be done in person or on Zoom but is entirely optional. Select scholarships will be also be determined by financial need. To see various academic scholarships given by JBU, visit the Scholarships & Grants page.

In order to be considered for scholarships beginning JBU in fall 2022 or spring 2023, you must submit an application and a copy of your portfolio. There are two opportunities: fall submissions will only be accepted between October 25-November 12, 2021 and must include both the application and portfolio. This portfolio should be your best work, in any medium you choose: painting, drawing, design, photography, cinema, etc. Further instructions on applying are given below.

You may choose to apply in the fall or spring, as either one qualifies you for enrolling in fall 2022 or spring 2023.
