Eagle Base Camp is JBU's summer enrollment event. All incoming students and their families are encouraged to attend.
Registration will open in spring 2025.

This is the largest event we have for the incoming class before the fall semester. Don't miss it!
Go on an excursion
Choose from a float trip, a visit to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art or a hike at Natural Falls State Park.
Complete the enrollment process
In addition to registering for classes, you'll complete important paperwork and get valuable information, including details about move-in, FERPA, meal plans and more.

Students will be assigned to Group A or Group B based on the date they submitted their deposit. We will provide you with a personalized schedule including your registration appointments at check-in.
Parents and guardians, while your student is away on their excursion, you may use the parent lounge, attend information sessions or explore Northwest Arkansas on your own.

Frequently asked questions
I've already registered for classes as an Early Commit student. Should I come to Eagle Base Camp?
Yes! Besides getting to know your classmates on an excursion and seeing your dorm room, you still have important paperwork and other tasks to complete as part of the enrollment process. Coming to Eagle Base Camp means you'll have less work to do at Orientation.
Can I choose to be in Group A or Group B?
Group assignment is based on the date you submitted your deposit.
When will I know what group I'm in?
You will find out your group assignment the week before Eagle Base Camp.
What does Eagle Base Camp cost?
There is a $10 registration fee per student and per guest. The float trip costs an additional $30.
How many guests may I bring?
Students may bring up to six guests. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.
Can parents go on an excursion?
Excursions are only for students. While their student is away on their excursion, parents may use the parent lounge, attend information sessions or explore Northwest Arkansas on their own.
Are on-campus accommodations available?
On-campus accommodations are not available for Eagle Base Camp. View local accommodations.
What if I can't make it to Eagle Base Camp?
You will register in August online with an advisor and complete the enrollment process when you arrive to campus in the fall.
