Dr. Judy Winslett's professional focus includes guiding graduate and undergraduate students in identifying and preparing for their vocational paths and professional pursuits. Drawing from her school administrator and counselor background, Dr. Winslett has cultivated a passion for steering students toward post-secondary educational avenues. Her collaborative efforts with aspiring school counselors are enriched by her experiences across various levels within the public school system.

Dr. Winslett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Northeastern State University. After graduation, she taught Business while completing a Masters in School Counseling at John Brown University. She served as a high school counselor before moving to the high school vice principal role and eventually becoming principal. While serving as principal, she received her Educational Specialist Degree and began her work in district-level administration, retiring from public school as an assistant superintendent. After retirement, she came to JBU as an instructor of school counseling and earned her Doctorate from Harding University.

Dr. Winslett and her husband enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
