ALs are responsible for communication to Ambassadors in preparation and during Preview Days. They are involved in each Preview Day and help with programming during each event. They are active in recruiting Ambassadors throughout the year and regularly welcome guests coming on individual visits separate from Preview Days. Why Ambassadors?
I love that Ambassadors get to meet lots of new people and get to know them while also telling them about a school and community that we love. Ambassadors have experienced the beauty of JBU and desire to draw people into their community that they may be known, welcomed, and loved like they themselves have been. Why Ambassadors?
“JBU Ambassadors truly provides a unique opportunity to connect with students and provide them with a glance of what a collegiate experience looks like especially within the JBU community. One weekend in person can tell you so much more than any website or brochure about the brotherhood, friendships, and academic possibilities this campus has. It was ultimately through the caring spirit of an ambassador and a weekend in J. Alvin that brought me to this campus. I am passionate about giving back to this program and helping students like myself who are interested in finding Christ-centered, authentic community and are pursuant of academic excellence.”
