SEA Leadership Applications

What we do: 
SEA stands for Student Events and Activities. We cultivate community, culture and creativity within the JBU campus. We provide entertainment and experiences that bring the entire student body together. Through our events, we hope that JBU students connect with new people, nurture existing friendships, and impact the campus atmosphere.

Some of our events include: Mock Rock, Talent Show, The Next Big Thing, Safari on the Quad, Late Skate, movie nights, coffee houses, etc.

Who we are:
The SEA Officer Team consists of 6 student leadership positions. This group of individuals, with their unique perspectives and ideas, forms a team where those ideas are heard and valued. Together we make those ideas into a reality by creating, planning and implementing weekly programs for the JBU campus. By implementing this programming, these students learn about their strengths, weaknesses, how to lead and how to be a team. This group is supported by the SEA volunteer team.

The following SEA officer positions will be decided via interview only. No application or references required. Please sign up for an interview slot in Student Development by March 10. Interviews will take place from March 13-16th. Please indicate which position you would like to interview for when you sign up.

Hiring Timeline (including important dates)

  • Application and References due- March 10, 2017 by midnight.
  • Individual interviews-March 13-16 (Sign up for an interview in Student Development)
  • Decision Notification-March 27
  • Training begins after Spring Break
  • SEA meets every Monday at 4pm
