The Residence Life Staff is important in helping develop the campus community, foster holistic learning opportunities and create a positive living environment. While being a part of the Residence Life staff is challenging, it is also very rewarding. Each year,  about 45 RA's and 4 ARD's are hired to fill positions in the Mayfield, J. Alvin, Hutcheson, Walker, Northslope, and the Townhouses.

RA Hiring Timeline and Process for Spring 2018:

  • January 17, 9:30pm: Optional info meeting about the RA application process, Walker 2nd floor lounge
  • February 2: Application, references, and résumé due
  • February 8 & 9: Group interviews (Sign up for a time in the Student Development office)
  • February 15, 16, 19, 20, & 21: Individual interviews (Applicants will be contacted by email with instructions about signing up for a time)
  • March 9, 2018: Selection letters sent out
