JBU will be crediting student accounts for 7 weeks (43.75%) of the Spring 2020 Room and Board costs because of campus housing closure due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

After any outstanding balance is paid, you have several options for how to use this credit. Please fill out the credit request form linked below by May 7. (We will process the requests as they come in.)

  • Pay for JBU At Home Summer Classes ($249/credit hr)
  • Apply the credit toward the fall
  • Give a gift to JBU for the "Bear One Another's Burden" scholarship fund to help students return in the fall
  • Request a refund

Refund Processing

If you request a refund, it will be made via direct deposit if that is set up, or check if it is not. If you are enrolled in direct deposit for refunds (separate from direct deposit for payroll) the refund is generally issued in 2-7 days. Checks may take 2-14 days.
