The Office of Undergraduate Scholarship & Prestigious Fellowships exists to promote and support student involvement in prestigious fellowships, research, and other creative and scholarly endeavors as well as strengthen JBU's reputation as a place that fosters engaged learning and academic excellence.


Celebration of Academic Excellence 2019

The Office of Undergraduate Scholarship and Prestigious Fellowships will be hosting the annual Undergraduate Research Conference at John Brown University on Friday, April 12. The conference, held in Bynum Theater, will be a part of the annual Celebration of Academic Excellence. Undergraduates in all disciplines will be presenting their work through Oral Presentations in Bynum from 9:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. or through Poster Sessions in Simmons Great Hall from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  

Lunch will be provided to participants and session moderators. The lunch speaker will be Dr. O. Alan Noble. Dr. Noble is Assistant Professor of English at Oklahoma Baptist University, editor-in-chief of Christ and Pop Culture, and author of Disruptive Witness: Speaking Truth in a Distracted Age.
