Meet the Resident Director of Hutcheson Hall
My name is Morgan Morris and I am the Resident Director of Hutcheson Hall. I am originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas and am a proud John Brown University alumni. I graduated from JBU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Before returning to JBU, I worked as the Graduate Assistant for First Year Experience and completed my master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Development at Taylor University in Indiana.
I lived in the residence hall for all four years of my undergraduate career at JBU. During this time, I not only lived alongside my friends, but I also learned alongside them. I furthered my classroom learning and gained a greater understanding of myself. It was through these experiences, as well as work with new student orientation, student activities, and other areas of campus, I found my passion for living and learning alongside people, specifically college students.
I am honored to have the opportunity to live and learn in the JBU community again alongside the residents of Hutcheson Hall. My hope and prayer is for Hutcheson Hall to be a place where students live and learn in all of the facets outlined in JBU’s motto: head, heart, and hand. I am excited to be a part of the holistic growth, learning, and development happening in Hutcheson Hall and at JBU!
