 **While our campus is closed due to Covid-19, JBU's testing center will also remain closed until further notice.


John Brown University is a closed testing center and only offers testing services to current JBU students, students wanting to enroll in a JBU Graduate program, or JBU Online Students.  Scheduling is done on a first come, first serve basis. 


Due to our small testing site there are limited testing hours available each week Students wishing to take a CLEP must preregister at least one week in advance

OFFICE HOURS: LRC 150 8:00am-4:00pm M-F

All CLEP tests are administered on a computer in the Office of Disability and Testing Services located on the main campus in LRC 150.

A maximum of 30 semester hours of CLEP, Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate Program (IB), and Departmental Equivalency Exams may be applied toward the bachelor's degree; 15 maximum for the associate's degree.

A student may not take a nationally recognized standardized examination (CLEP or DANTES) if the student is currently enrolled in the equivalent course on the first day of the semester. A student may take a CLEP or DANTES equivalent to a course they were enrolled in during an earlier semester. 

Each test takes 90 minutes, plus the time required to complete a questionnaire.

The CLEPeCBT exam fee will be $89 plus a test administration fee of $10.  Pay for your CLEP test online at: https://clep.collegeboard.org/

The test administration fee of $10 can be paid with cash or check the day of the test at the testing center.

Exam Day

 Be prepared to bring the following:

Identification:  Your driver’s license, passport or other government-issued identification that includes your photograph and signature, as well as a secondary form of ID that includes a photo and/or your signature, such as a student ID

Administration fees: Bring administration fee to the test center

No electronic devices are allowed in testing room

Our testing office is located on JBU’s main campus in Siloam Springs, AR in LRC 150.
