Currently the JBU Testing Center is not in operation due to a physical move. An announcement will be posted here when the center is ready to start offering CLEP tests again. If you need to test soon, please contact the NWACC or University of Arkansas test sites to schedule a test.
Students wishing to take a CLEP must preregister at least one week in advance. All CLEP tests are administered on a computer in the Student Support Services Office located on the main campus in LRC 147. The testing office will be closed during the summer. THE LAST DAY OF TESTING WILL BE MAY 15, 2015.
A maximum of 30 semester hours of CLEP, Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate Program (IB), and Departmental Equivalency Exams may be applied toward the bachelor's degree; 15 maximum for the associate's degree.
A student may not take a nationally recognized standardized examination (CLEP or DANTES) if the student is currently enrolled in the equivalent course on the first day of the semester. A student may take a CLEP or DANTES equivalent to a course they were enrolled in during an earlier semester.
Each test takes 90 minutes, plus the time required to complete a questionnaire.
The CLEPeCBT exam fee will be $80 plus a test administration fee of $10. Credit cards are the method of payment for the exam fee. Only American Express, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted. The test administration fee of $10 can be paid with cash or check.
