Serve Siloam

Volunteer Sheet

We're excited about our Serve Siloam Volunteer Team and that YOU will be a part of it!

Serve Siloam is a service project created and organized to support community needs and encourage new JBU students to learn about and get involved in this amazing community that they will be a part of during their time here at JBU. We would like you to partner with us by helping introduce students to our community and serving alongside with our students.

The date that is set aside for Serve Siloam is Monday, August 20st from 8:15am-11:30am. There will be a free lunch available from 11:30-1:00pm in downtown Siloam + ice cream from Pure Joy.

We will meet at 8:15am on Monday in the BPAC to prepare you for your role as a site host. You, along with the student leaders and new students, will be assigned a location around Siloam to serve. Someone from the organization that we are serving will meet you at the site to give an overview of their organization and what they do in Siloam, then they will stay with you and the students to serve for the morning. Your role is to get to know students and to be an adult representative of JBU.

We are so excited for our students to see our community first hand because we feel this is something that makes JBU stand out from other colleges. We really do have an amazing community and we are looking forward to sharing it with our incoming students. We hope you will join us for the event!
