Commencement this Saturday

Thursday, December 17, 2009

On Saturday, 125 Advance students will graduate from John Brown University. Commencement is one of my favorite activities of the year, because it marks the culmination of months of sacrifice and commitment that our students have maintained in order to finish their degrees.

And it's not just an individual accomplishment. Our students are represented by proud spouses, children, and parents when they walk across the stage to receive their bachelor's degrees. It's truly a family effort.

The JBU Advance Program boasts a graduation rate of more than 85%, significantly higher than the national average of 56% and the Arkansas average of 43%.

We hope you'll join us Saturday morning in Siloam Springs at 10 a.m. in the Walton Lifetime Health Complex for Commencement exercises. Congratulations, graduates.
