Tuition not increasing for JBU Graduate, Degree Completion Students

Costs hold steady for 2016-17

Thursday, February 11, 2016

The JBU Board of Trustees recently approved tuition rates for the 2016-17 school year, which included no increase for students in the Degree Completion Program and Graduate School.

Tuition for Degree Completion courses will remain $420 per credit hour, while tuition for most graduate courses will remain $548 per credit hour. JBU does not charge additional general fees to students enrolled in bachelor’s degree completion or master’s degree-level courses (i.e., parking, athletic, or student activity fees). If you compare the total cost of attendance at JBU with other private universities in the area, you’ll find our costs among the lowest. Our student costs are comparable to many Arkansas tax-supported public universities, too.

Tuition rates for JBU’s traditional undergraduate program in Siloam Springs will increase 3.1% for 2016-17, the lowest rate increase in 27 years.

The JBU tuition rate is subject to change annually. These rates are effective until June 30, 2017.

We know that pursuing your degree is an investment and we pledge to provide a quality education to all JBU students at the lowest cost possible.
